Cheryl Beer's Remarkable Women Series
In 2019, Cheryl recorded a 6 part Series for Radio Oystermouth called Woman Needs a Temple : A Platform for Women to Join a Conversation about the Human Spirit & Well Being. The show was aired every Sunday at 7pm & picked up by Welsh Connections as part of their Heart of the Community Archive. The tracks from Cheryl's album featured on the show & became part of the Welsh Connections International Playlist in Wales, England, the United States & Europe.
Following this success, Cheryl launched her 2nd series for Radio Oystermouth on International Women's Day 2020 called 'Remarkable Women', a platform for Women's Life Stories. Having developed deaf friendly ways of working, she produced the show herself. The series won an Equality Award in 2020. Series 3 is currently airing.
