'Cheryl Beer is changing the world,
one beautiful song at a time ... '

Sam Fillingham : Chief Executive Officer PIP UK
Cheryl Beer writes songs for the unheard; powerful, authentic & raw. Filled with emotion, her performance is visceral, reminiscent of the protest singers of the 1970's, reaching deep into the soul. Her lyrics are anthems for the marginalised, her melodies, a campaign for a better world. Cheryl was born to be a songwriter. She has been writing songs & performing since she was 13 years old, touring alongside the likes of Bob Geldof & Van Morrison, she opened for Joan Baez at The Lemon Tree is Aberdeen & has played at almost every festival across Britain. But it's never been about fame and fortune for Cheryl. Instead, she  wants to make the world a better place & alongside her career as a Singer/Songwriter she is also known as an award winning Creative Humanitarian, designing and delivering community based strategies, bringing the arts to those most in need.
How she has dealt with her own struggles is testimony to her great courage & resilience., 4 years ago, Cheryl woke up with hearing loss, severe tinnitus & hyperacusis, a sound sensitivity that made it impossible for her to continue as a professional musician. It was a bleak time. However, she was determined to heal & blossomed through her love of Storytelling, Poetry & Environmental Sound ... and then, in the political malaise of the pandemic, she had an awakening. Realising that she was not alone in feeling powerless, Cheryl was called to step back into her soul purpose and write songs that galvanise hope, speak out against inequality & create a platform for the vulnerable be heard.

'Sung & composed with genuine empathy & passion. I applaud you ...'
