Scientists have proven that chanting for 10 - 20 minutes stimulates the Vagus Nerve, which is responsible for the body's sense of well being. Off course, our ancient ancestors have been telling us this for 4000 years ...

Welcome friend, your inner Self has chosen FRIENDSHIP as an area upon which you may wish to meditate. There are usually three reasons why we are drawn to a certain mantra:-
1. Because we feel we are lacking or have struggles with this area of our life. For instance, perhaps you have moved to a new area & feel as though you have no friends. Maybe you have been through a trauma & your friends have not stepped up in the way you had hoped. Perhaps you are always giving & now, you feel open to receive more often, or maybe you have fallen out with a friend and it is hurting you.
2. Because we are already surrounded with amazing friends & would like to give thanks for this blessing, or open up our friendship circle even wider to attract new friends.
3. And lastly, because we have too much of this in our life & it is causing issues. It is hard to think of having too many friends, but sometimes, we have so many friendships & yet none of them feel deeply connected or we just can not find enough time to see them all, or to be the friend we would like to be. Be mindful to nurture the two way, loving nature of true friendship.

The Om is said to be the root of all sound & by chanting it, we tune into a Universal consciousness. Parvati is the Ancient Diety associated with female friendships & Saraswati is the ancient Diety mostly associated with Knowledge, Wisdom, Learning & Creativity such as poetry, music, dancing (& also maths). Bringing these two Dieties together may set an intention thus:
With Higher consciousness
I connect lovingly
To nurture female friendships
With wisdom & creativity
This mantra is also perfect for setting the intention to be friends with yourself, after all, your soul has always loved you.
Namaste, Dear One,
